The Heart of Latino Soul by Catherine Anaya
Heather J. Kirk is a contributing author to the anthology, Chicken Soup for the Latino Soul, co-edited by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen and Susan Sanchez-Casal.
Arizona news anchor Catherine Anaya interviewed Ms. Heather J. Kirk, both for a TV news segment and for the above article in Latino Perspectives Magazine (September 2005). Ms. Kirk wrote a true story titled "Alma/My Soul," about a Tarahuamara girl she befriended in Copper Canyon (Barranca del Cobre), Mexico.
